Fancy making your very own mulled wine?
Let us help you with that. We have a great mixture of mulled wine spices and it is so easy to have your own mulled wine.
Here is what you will need:
1 or two bottles of red wine
our mulled wine spices
a tea ball
Put the wine in a pot and heaten it up on medium heat. It must not boil, just simmer away. Once it is hot, add the spices. You can use an old-fashioned tea ball or tong. If you don't have a tea ball, have a look here as we stock some very nice ones. You can also use our paperfilters, maybe close them with the teeli-clip or something similar. Or take our DIY teabags, they will work like a treat.
There is of course also the possibility to add the spices just as they are. In this case you might need to strain the mulled wine with a strainer or a little sieve to your cup.
Leave the mulled wine spices for about 5 minutes.
Sweeten the wine to taste. A splash of a decent orange juice is also a great idea.
If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, take red grape juice and maybe also some other red fruit juices like e.g. elderberry, cherry, black currant etc. instead of the wine.
To make things easy for you we are supplying you with 24 g of the spices, which is enough for 1.5 l of wine.
